Retired CITY Laundering Executive Passes On
Roger B. Wetlaufer, 87, passed away on Dec. 31, 2017, in Tucson, AZ. He was the former president and CEO of CITY Laundering Co., Oelwein, IA. Wetlaufer served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War before joining the family business founded in 1906 by his father, Herbert W. Wetlaufer. Roger B. became president in 1972 and took over the business from his brother, Gerald. Under his leadership, CITY continued to expand its market area.
