Robert E. Samble, 70, Longmeadow, MA, the former president of Belmont Laundry Inc., Springfield, MA, passed away on Feb. 7, after an illness. A third-generation executive of the family-owned buiness from 1973 until a few years ago, he led the company to a fourth generation of family leadership. Survivors include his wife, Carol; sons Derek, vice president of Belmont (Katie), Southwick, MA; Jason McCarthy (Leah) Longmeadow; a daughter, April McCarthy, Longmeadow; a brother, Cory Samble (Kim), Edmond, OK; a sister Donna Samble Young, Longmeadow; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
