It’s too early to know how historians will write about the year 2020, but for those of us who have lived through this year, it will always be etched in our memories. In my mind, March the 17th will no longer be just St. Patrick’s Day, but the day that our office phones rang continuously. All our restaurant customers were shutting their doors. How did we go from a strong first quarter, to a worldwide crashing halt, all caused by a virus? This has been a year where our fragility and resilience has been challenged beyond measure.
