Each administration brings its own perspective to its regulatory agencies. The Obama administration is no different.
 
For the last eight years, the textile services industry has largely been out-of-sight and out-of-mind as far as Washington was concerned. When it came to imposing tough business regulations, the Bush administration was an absentee landlord. Since 2001, business didn’t have to look over its shoulder much. Although times were good, the downside is that our industry was lulled into a sense of complacency.
