With all due respect to Aesop, let’s state the moral up front: Don’t simply get mad, learn and get even.
Consider an industry where prominent players have been indicted and jailed for illegal, unethical and salacious behavior. Among these transgressions are allegations of fraud in official proceedings before federal judges. Simultaneously, the Department of Justice has brought—and is considering additional—charges of corruption. Suppose also that many of the firms associated with the individuals were aware of, and may have even encouraged, these exploits.
