Aaron Bitman — A ‘Highly Skilled, Decent Guy’ Passes On

TRSA members recently lost an award-winning leader. Aaron Bitman, 96, Dresher, PA, passed away on Sept. 10, 2025. His 40-plus-year career in the industry included pioneering barcode technology in the 1980s, a precursor to today’s radio-frequency identification systems for tracking workwear inventory. Industry colleagues also revered him as a friend and mentor.
