Congress and the administration show no signs of letting up on their drive to beef up environmental laws and regulations. That’s important because environmental issues will continue to have a significant impact on the textile services industry. Some of the rules now under discussion, such as those contained in the proposed cap-and-trade bill, would increase costs significantly.
