Alsco Uniforms, Salt Lake City, UT, recently announced the acquisition of Topper Linen, a Canadian company founded in 1956. The acquisition expands Alsco’s service capabilities in the Greater Toronto area. Topper’s facility and fleet of delivery trucks will be rebranded and integrated into Alsco’s operations. Additionally, Topper’s more than 90-member staff will retain their jobs. Alsco CEO Bob Steiner declared the move “an exciting step forward in our continued growth.” With the addition of this plant, Alsco now has two Toronto-based laundry facilities and more than 80 mixed-processing facilities in North America.
