Alsico Continues Commitment to Recycling
Alsico, Ronse, Belgium, has taken another major step toward the transition to a circular economy with its first shipment of 4,500 lbs. of end-of-life garments to Sixone. This Canadian-based company partnered with Alsico to extend the life cycle and purpose of textile materials. End-of-life garments will be collected, returned and transformed into high-quality polyester chips, thus providing a continuous source of material for the textile industry and setting new standards for recyclability.
