Two years ago this month, we reported on growth trends in the business to consumer (B2C) market for dry-cleaning and reusable diapers services specializing in home delivery. At the time, we described the idea of home laundry as “not dead, just different.” Two years on, we’re seeing this trend evolve in different, yet lucrative directions, including a bona fide revival of the “wash and fold” services that some of your fathers or grandfathers specialized in before home washing machines gained prominence in the early 1960s.
