Carbon Calculators— ‘GLARE’ from Across the Pond
While President Donald Trump says it’s “unrealistic” for the U.S. to achieve “net zero” greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by 2050, European governments are pursuing their net- zero GHG goals with gusto.

Large U.S. and European companies, including Cintas Corp., are also pursuing 2050 net-zero goals. Many are using proprietary “carbon calculators,” i.e., computer programs, to track their progress. Now all companies—both here and abroad—can access a carbon calculator developed by the United Kingdom’s Textile Services Association (TSA) in parternship with the Green Element Group consortium in the UK.
