Changes to PFAS reporting rules

Background: The EPA has designated PFOA and PFOS as hazardous substances; expect reporting/cleanup actions.

Actions: TRSA is engaging with Congress, the EPA, state and local policymakers, coalition partners and others.

Status: In November 2025, the EPA proposed revisions to the reporting rule to reduce unnecessary reporting requirements for manufacturers.
