TRSA recently named a consultant to assess the Laundry Environmental Stewardship Program (Laundry-ESP) to see whether it could serve as the basis for setting industrywide standards for various levels of proficiency in conserving natural resources in textile service operations. The analysis will show whether LaundryESP procedures require members to submit enough data on their operating practices for TRSA to accredit some companies or facilities as “greener” than others.
