We recently visited the new Cleveland Clinic central laundry, located in an 80,000-square-foot stand-alone building, capable of processing up to 30 million lbs. per year. In an unusual arrangement, the land, building, equipment and all linen is owned by Cleveland Clinic, the world-renowned Ohio-based healthcare group. However, the laundry it houses is managed by a not for profit (501c), employee-owned entity called Evergreen Cooperative Laundry.
