Ted B. Owens, 83, a 49-year associate of Milliken & Co. passed away on Aug. 25. Prior to his retirement in 2004, Owens spent 25 of those years working on the Milliken Laundry Services Team, building relationships nationwide with textile rental companies and vendors to the industry. He received a special award from the Independent Textile Rental Association, including an honorary membership in that organization. He was very involved with local government as well.
