Donald Pedder, 77, Dan-ville, CT, a recently retired, 50-year laundry executive and association leader, passed away on Jan. 28, of COVID-19, according to stepson Bill Jones, a 35-year laundry industry veteran who’s general manager of Hospital Laundry Service, Ft. Wayne, IN. Jones praised his late stepfather as a creative, detail-oriented leader with an indefatigable work ethic. “He was so innovative. That has always stuck with me,” says Jones, who entered the industry in 1986 at Aratex, under Pedder’s guidance.
