Ray Healey, 85, owner of Custom Compound Chem-icals, dba, St. Croix Chemical Co., Osh-kosh, WI, recently passed away. The business had essentially closed in 2020, according to Healey’s business partner, Larry Cohen, who added that Healey had continued to work on a consulting basis until his passing. Healey had founded the business in 1972, and Cohen joined as a partner in 1987. The two men, both self-taught laundry chemistry specialists, had learned on the job.
