Paul Lawrence Smiley, 80, Paso Robles, CA, passed away Feb. 19. He was a retired vice president of operations for Mission Linen Service, Santa Barbara, where he served for over 20 years before retiring in 1985. During this period, Smiley was active in TRSA, including regularly attending conventions.
 
Smiley entered the laundry business in 1949 after serving in the U.S. Navy. He operated the Paso Robles Laundry and Dry Cleaners for 23 years before joining Mission Linen. Following his retirement from Mission, Smiley bought Nu Way Cleaners and Laundry in Paso Robles ...
