Peter G. Brown, 87, and chairman of Mickey’s Linen & Towel Supply Inc., Chicago, passed away last month, thus ending a pioneering career in the textile service business. Brown joined the industry with his uncle who founded Mickey’s Linen in a basement in 1930. Today, this TRSA member company is led by four of Brown’s children, who serve thousands of customers in Chicagoland and beyond. Mickey’s Linen employs 400 people and is one of the largest family-owned textile service companies in the Midwest.
