In Memoriam
Oscar Victor, 86, retired president of Vic Manufacturing, a producer of dry-cleaning machinery, passed away Nov. 25, 2005, in Minneapolis. A noted humanitarian and entrepreneur, he was active for decades in both business and not-for-profit causes, including flying medical patients to hospitals at his own expense. Victor’s daughter, Bonnie Heller, Golden Valley, MN, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that, “He took great pleasure in being able to help people. It doesn’t pay to live on this earth if you don’t leave it a better place.”
