Up To Date Laundry Inc. recently opened a new 80,000 square-foot plant in Northeast Baltimore that will enable the company to create up to 160 new jobs and process up to 72 million additional pounds of textiles annually. The new plant, unveiled on Dec. 4, 2017, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, will serve as a complement to and potential backup for Up To Date’s existing 80,000 square-foot plant on DeSoto Road in the Southwest corner of the city.
