An Oct. 5, 2020, OR Management News article, titled “Are the Towels in Your Hospital Really Clean? Investigators Find Dangerous Microbes,” caught TRSA’s attention as it promoted disposable microfiber mops and wipers as hygienically superior to their reusable counterparts. The reaction of TRSA members led to the submission of a letter to the editor to OR’s sister publication, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy News, which published the original article.
