Following the radical political changes of the early ’90s, previously closed markets in Europe’s East have opened up more and more. As this region’s economy has strengthened, new requirements in the professional textile service and hygiene industry were created. In addition to unmet regional demand, Western European companies have been a major driving force behind this growth by moving production centers and subsidiaries into the region.
