EPA Honors TRSA/UTSA for NPE Initiative

Working through LaundryESP®, TRSA/UTSA have taken a lead role in a national effort by textile service companies to phase out the use of nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPE), a surfactant that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says is a source of water pollution. These efforts have earned the recently restructured associations a “Champion” rating from the EPA Safe Detergents Stewardship Initiative (SDSI).
