The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently accepted a request from TRSA to extend the comment period for stakeholders to review more than 500 pages of risk analysis and supporting documentation that the EPA released in October. 
 
As reported last month in Textile Rental Weekly, EPA is seeking comments on their updated risk analysis for wipes contaminated with solvents. The comments originally were due by Dec. 28, 2009. The new deadline is Feb. 26.
