EPA Shows Path to Effective Public-Private Relations

Late last month, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) indicated they would work with members of TRSA, including Cintas Corp., to phase out the use of nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPE) and several other industrial chemicals. 
 
In pursuing a gradual, rather than immediate withdrawal of NPEs, the EPA demonstrated just how effectively public and private interests can work together to minimize any potential harm to our environment and that American industry will bear reasonable costs for environmental protection without command-and-control regulation to ensure it.
