EPA ‘SNUR’ Restricts NPEs, Starting Dec. 31—Are You Ready?
With TRSA’s phaseout of nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) about to wrap up this Dec. 31, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced a Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) for the use of NPEs. The SNUR is slated to take effect on Jan. 1, 2015, in conjunction with TRSA’s actions.
