EPA Weighs Enforcement Priorities
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets national enforcement and compliance assurance priorities every three years to focus its resources toward the most significant environmental problems and challenges related to human health.
The agency is now considering future enforcement priorities, and it looks as if the primary focus won’t impact our industry directly. That said, this is by no means a signal that it’s time to ease up on our obligations. And, there will, no doubt, be extra pressure on state and local regulatory bodies to carry the ongoing load.
