Fed Oversight—OSHA Recordkeeping Rules

Over the past 12 months, our industry has become more aware of and involved in safety. The focus is usually on topics such as bloodborne pathogens, lockout/tagout, confined spaces and personal protective equipment. While these are important, and often the most cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), we mustn’t forget about OSHA’s recordkeeping rule. The purpose of this rule is to help prevent injuries, illnesses and fatalities by maintaining accurate records and analyzing their results.
