Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC), Gaffney, SC, recently announced the retirement of longtime President and CEO Bob Harbin, who has had a 30-year career as a transportation leader and innovator. As president of FCCC since 2006, Harbin helped the company achieve its top-ranking position as a chassis maker in the Class A diesel RV and walk-in van markets, as well as record market share in the commercial bus market. David Carson, now general manager of HR at Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), will succeed Harbin.
