From ‘King Cotton’ To COVID-19— A Textile Veteran Reflects On 50 Years Of Innovation

Tom Hunt, president of Hunt Textiles, Dallas, recently announced his retirement from the textile services business, saying he’s appreciative of customers, colleagues and suppliers for his many years of success in the etrade.

“I’m grateful for every day,” says Hunt, 80. “I especially am grateful to the textile rental industry, and what it’s done for my life and my family’s life.” Hunt, recently turned over the linen supply business he founded in 1977 to his son, Rob (pictured below), who currently serves as vice president with his sister Lyn Hunt Kelley, who is CFO/HR director.
