Healthcare hasn’t always been as large a sector among textile service companies as it is today.
 
However, commercial laundry operators long ago realized that processing linens and uniforms for hospitals, nursing homes and clinics offered a huge growth opportunity—especially since most textile service companies could process textiles far more efficiently than on-premise laundries.
