Lindstrom Partners on Breakthrough Textile-Recycling Efforts

The cloth roll towel (CRT) has served as an environmentally prominent part of the circular economy for decades. Recently, Lindstrom Oy, Helsinki, donated CRTs to a research project conducted at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. The CRTs were used as part of a program known as the Finix Project, which has produced a new cotton fiber called Ioncell.
