Laundry Owner Gets House Arrest in Canada
The owner of a dry cleaner in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, recently was sentenced to house arrest for illegally importing and using tetracholorethylene, also known as perc, according to news reports. The report noted that it’s the first time a dry cleaner has received jail time for violating the Canadian Environmental Protection Act.
