Healthcare Providers Face 2% Medicare Cut

Due to the federal government’s “sequestration,” policy, healthcare providers will receive reimbursements at a rate of 98 cents on the dollar for Medicare fee-for-service claims dated on or after April 1, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Although the Senate recently passed a Democratic budget that would roll back the cuts, the House budget maintains them.
