Heavy Traffic—New York’s Fight Over Congestion Pricing
TRSA has spent the last two years advocating to prevent harmful regulations that would impose an undue financial burden on our New York City members. After a hard fight, the New York State Legislature recently voted to pass congestion pricing in lower Manhattan as part of the state budget. This ill-conceived policy will hurt outer-borough residents, students, delivery drivers and business owners—including TRSA members—by forcing anyone traveling into lower Manhattan to pay a fee. Gov.
