Hospitality/Hotels: Industry Report Highlights Recovery Progress
Data from the 2024 State of the Industry Report from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) showed a hospitality industry that has recovered almost fully from the lows suffered during the shutdowns triggered by COVID-19, starting in March 2020. According to data from Oxford Economics and STR, U.S. hotel revenue per available room (RevPAR) reached a nominal high in 2023, increasing 4.8% year over year vs. 2022.
