"The COVID-19 pandemic has changed Westport Linen Service’s approach to supply chain management in numerous ways. We increased our monthly purchasing to address the rising demands for linen, in preparation to assist customers affected by the shortage of disposable PPE worldwide. In being as proactive as possible and calling on our primary vendors and other linen manufacturers for alternative product lines, we matched requirements to product delivery dates. Scrub wear became the largest alternative items requested by our clients.
