Industry Groups, OSHA Sign Off on Revised Standard
Five industry organizations and a U.S. government agency have settled on recommendations for major revisions to the American National Standard for Commercial Laundry and Dry Cleaning Equipment and Operations (ANSI Z8.1).
ANSI Z8.1 applies to the design and safe operation of equipment used in commercial and institutional laundries and dry-cleaning plants. The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) is the ANSI Standards developer.
