Industry Trends–Expansion Slows, Profitability Grows

TRSA recently released its 2007 Industry Performance Report that tracks sales and cost trends across the U.S. textile service industry. 
 
This latest edition, based on information submitted anonymously by TRSA member companies, shows that industry sales growth slipped in 2007. However, profitability for the typical member company showed an improvement, despite rising operational costs. According to the Report, which benefited from a 17% increase in member participation, median sales for the typical TRSA member company grew by 3.2% in 2007. Profitability before taxes was 5.6%.
