Kevin Minissian—Laundry Chemistry Entrepreneur, Innovator And Friend To Many

Kevin Minissian came to America from Armenia in December 1970 with an entrepreneurial vision that laid the foundation for a laundry-chemical business based on sustainability, efficiency and effectiveness. While that dream was disrupted by Minissian’s untimely passing last November, his legacy was reaffirmed on Sept. 15 with the posthumous awarding of TRSA’s Maglin/Biggie Lifetime Achievement Award during the association’s Annual Conference in Nashville, TN. Below, colleagues and customers reflect on the impact that Minissian had on the linen, uniform and facility services industry through Norchem Corp., the company he founded in 1978 in Los Angeles.
