Labor Study: Remote Workplaces Favored
A survey of over 4,400 U.S. workers by Great Place to Work in July 2023, found that remote workers are 27% more likely to look forward to their jobs and 23% more likely to report a healthy workplace vs. their on-site counterparts. However, the survey noted that 65% of respondents work on-site, with only 16% fully remote. The report suggests that return-to-office (RTO) mandates negatively impact employee retention and productivity—especially if not adapted to individual needs.
