Attendees at this month’s Tech/Plant Conference will enjoy tours of two commercial laundries in Las Vegas that feature the latest techniques for processing hospitality goods. These facilities mainly launder fancy bed, bath and F&B linens for the hotels/casinos of the famous “Strip” on Las Vegas Boulevard. 
 
Some 42 years ago, another Nevada laundry devised a business model around an activity—nuclear testing—that’s nearly as common as casinos in the “Silver State.”
