Lindstrom, a Helsinki-based textile services provider, and DobroDilo, a Czech non-profit group, recently were honored for their partnership with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award from the European Textile Services Association (ETSA). The CSR Award recognizes businesses that successfully incorporate social responsibility into their business plans. The award cited the companies’ collaboration on a textile workshop where people with disabilities produce unique gifts using recycled textiles, thereby reducing waste and providing them with meaningful job opportunities.
