Today’s luxury hotels are catering to younger, self-made guests who expect a different experience than older generations with inherited wealth. That was the view heard from members of a panel of luxury hotel experts at a recent Lodging Conference at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. One panelist noted that rising incomes are fueling “insatiable demand” for luxury hotel stays.
