Wal-Mart Goes Vertical
 
Most operators don’t think of Wal-Mart as a business involved in producing the products sold by the mega-retailer. However, a recent announcement that the company will build a 250,000-square-foot milk-processing plant in Fort Wayne, IN, shows that Wal-Mart is moving in directions that could make it a prime prospect for rental uniforms. 
 
The new plant will be built on 80 acres of farmland near the city’s airport and will employ 200 people, according to the Associated Press.
