Traffic Fatalities Trend Up 7.7%
 
Deaths from motor vehicle crashes rose 7.7% in 2015 according to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), cited in Automotive Fleet.
 
A total of 35,200 people died in vehicle crashes last year—up from 32,675 in 2014.
