BMW Expands U.S. Production

BMW’s U.S. plant in Greer, SC, will get an extra $600 million investment for an expansion that eventually will create 1,000 new jobs, according to news reports.

CEO Harald Krueger announced the expansion as the company marked its 25th year of manufacturing in the Palmetto State. The added jobs are expected to bring the plant’s total workforce to more than 10,000 people.
