Where the Jobs Are…

A recent report from the U.S. Dept. of Labor held good news for commercial laundry operators in as much as their potential customer base is putting more people in work garments, due to employment growth in areas such as construction and manufacturing.

Specifically, in February, the economy added 61,000 construction jobs (the most since 2007). Manufacturing added 31,000 jobs, or a total of 224,000 since the same period last year.

Hotels and restaurants also added 16,000 jobs.
