Wage Growth Continues in Small-Business Arena

While small-business hiring has declined recently, wage growth remains steady across small companies in the United States according to ManufacturingNet’s website. The report defines a small business as one with fewer than 50 employees.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, almost 95% of companies in the U.S. fall under this label. Texas is the strongest state for small-business job growth (Houston and Dallas are both listed among the top five best metros for small-business growth), while California takes the top spot for wage growth.
